How product links work

The current collection

The product links in the launch collection lead to verified official websites. No affiliate URLs or paid placements have been supplied, and none are currently used. We do not claim an affiliate relationship with any listed app.

If affiliate links are added

An affiliate link can compensate the publication when a reader purchases through it. Where that arrangement actually exists, the recommendation will carry this plain-language disclosure: “Some links are affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you purchase through them.”

Compensated product links will use the supplied destination, preserve required parameters, and include rel="sponsored". A link described as an official website will not quietly substitute a different seller.

Recommendations still need to earn their place

We consider the audience, usefulness, limitations, and alternatives regardless of whether a product has an affiliate program. Free and built-in options remain part of the decision. You can read and use the site without subscribing or purchasing.

Paid placements, if introduced, must be labelled and separate from editorial assessments. Read our editorial policy for evidence and selection standards.
